House rules, the friendly version

Our commitment

Good music, good vibes

To keep Veek safe and fair, everyone β€” listeners and artists β€” agrees to these Community Guidelines when they use Veek. They work alongside our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. Break them and your content may be removed or your account suspended. Nothing scary β€” just the basics of being decent.

The line

What's not allowed

These apply to everyone, every time. Veek has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour.

Harassment & bullying

Targeted abuse, threats, intimidation, or stalking. Disagreeing is fine β€” going after a person is not.

Hate speech

Attacks or slurs based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.

Violence & threats

Content that threatens, incites, or glorifies violence against anyone.

Sexual & explicit content

Pornographic or sexually explicit material. Any sexual content involving minors is reported to the authorities and results in an immediate, permanent ban.

Spam & deception

Scams, fraud, fake engagement, misleading links, and repetitive junk. Keep it real.

Illegal activity

Anything unlawful, including the sale of illegal goods or services.

Impersonation

Pretending to be another artist, person, or brand. Be yourself β€” that is the whole point.

Infringement

Uploading or sharing content you don't have the rights to. More on this in the Artists section below.

For listeners

If you're here to listen

Keep comments kind

Comments are where conduct shows up most. Hype the artists you love, give honest feedback, and skip the cruelty.

Tip with good intentions

Tips are a way to say "I believe in you." Never use tipping β€” or any feature β€” to harass, launder, or defraud.

Report, don’t retaliate

See something that breaks the rules? Report it instead of fighting fire with fire.

One real you

One person, one authentic account. Don't manipulate plays, likes, or follows.

For artists

If you're here to create

You keep 100% ownership of your music. In return, we ask one big thing: only upload what's truly yours.

1

Own what you upload

You must own or control all rights to everything you upload β€” the master recording and the composition (lyrics & melody), plus any samples (cleared) and featured performers.

2

You warrant it, we host it

By uploading, you confirm you hold those rights and grant Veek a licence to host, stream, and display your music to listeners.

3

No shortcuts

No covers or remixes without the necessary licences. No AI voice clones of real artists without consent. No leaked or unauthorised material.

4

Keep your profile honest

No impersonation and no misleading metadata (wrong artist or title). Truth builds trust.

5

Mind your taxes

You're responsible for any tax and eligibility obligations on the tips you receive.

Speak up

How to report something

In the app

Every comment, track, and artist has a Report action β€” pick a reason, add an optional note, done. It goes straight to our moderation queue.

By email

For anything you can't report in-app, or for urgent issues, email us at senditbob@veek.in.

Copyright

Rights holder? There's a dedicated path for takedowns β€” see Copyright & DMCA below.

What happens next

How we enforce the rules

0101

You report

Use the in-app Report action or email us. Every report lands in our moderation queue.

0202

We review

We aim to act on valid reports within 24 hours, weighing severity and history.

0303

We act

Depending on the case we may remove a comment or track, hide or limit content, or suspend an account.

0404

You can appeal

Disagree with a decision? Reply to the enforcement email and we will take another look.

The short version: we aim to act on valid reports within 24 hours. Repeat or severe violations lead to a permanent ban. Where it's appropriate, we'll let the affected person know.

Veek is an artist-upload platform β€” artists upload their own music. If you're a rights holder and something here infringes your work, email senditbob@veek.in with:

  • βœ“The work being infringed
  • βœ“The infringing URL or track
  • βœ“Your contact information
  • βœ“A good-faith statement and a statement of accuracy (the standard DMCA elements)

We remove confirmed infringing content and apply a repeat-infringer policy β€” accounts with multiple valid claims are terminated. You can find the full procedure in our Terms & Conditions.

Staying current

Changes to these guidelines

We may update these guidelines as Veek grows. We'll announce material changes, and continuing to use Veek means you accept the latest version. Questions? We're a friendly bunch β€” senditbob@veek.in.

That's it. Now go make some noise. 🎢

Keep it kind, keep it real, and Veek stays a place worth being. Ready to dive in?
